सीबीआई ने आज पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक के करीब 30 से अधिक ठिकानों पर छापा मारा है। जिनमें जम्मू और कश्मीर के पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक का घर भी शामिल है. सूत्रों के मुताबिक जम्मू-कश्मीर के हाइड्रो इलेक्ट्रिक प्रोजेक्ट से जुड़े भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में सीबीआई छापेमारी की .सत्यपाल मलिक भारतीय राजनीतिज्ञ तथा मेघालय के 19 वें राज्यपाल थे। 30 सितम्बर 2017 से 21 अगस्त तक बिहार राज्य के राज्यपाल भी रहे हैं ।
केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी ने जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक के दिल्ली स्थित आवास की भी तलाशी ली. जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व राज्यपाल सत्यपाल मलिक सरकार के आलोचक रहे है. वह किसानों और महिला पहलवानों के प्रदर्शन के मुद्दे पर सरकार की आलोचना कर चुके हैं. सत्यपाल मलिक पुलवामा हमले को लेकर लगातार केंद्र सरकार पर हमला बोल रहे हैं। मलिक ने साल केंद्र सरकार पर हमला बोलते हुए कहा था कि 2019 का लोकसभा चुनाव ‘सैनिकों की लाशों पर लड़ा गया और अगर इस मामले में जांच होती तो तत्कालीन गृह मंत्री को इस्तीफा देना पड़ता.
सत्यपाल मलिक ने आज के छापेमारी पर कहा कि मैं अभी बीमार हूँ , मुझे परेशान करने के लिए इस तरह के छापेमारी की जा रही है।
